Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 review: call for evidence
Overview
The Government will be publishing a report reviewing the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 later this year.
This Call for Evidence is designed to gather information that will inform the review and provide additional insight on how the legislation is working in practice. The regulations implement most of the provisions of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Much of the directive is subject to EU maximum harmonisation rule which means that Member States must not go beyond or below the provisions as set out in the directive, when transposing into national law.
This consultation does not include proposals for changing the regulations.
