Climate Change Agreements: consultation on extension to 31 March 2027 & further proposals on any potential future scheme
Overview
In this consultation we have set out:
- The new target period for an extension
- Changes to the existing factors for an extension
- Potential reforms for any potential future scheme
The current Climate Change Agreement (CCA) scheme started in 2013. Its energy and carbon reduction targets expired at the end of 2022, which provides eligible participants with access to reduced rates of Climate Change Levy until March 2025.
