Furniture and furnishings fire safety regulations: proposed changes (2016)
Overview
We think the 1988 Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations are now out of date and need revising. We are therefore proposing to bring the regulations into line with changing furniture making practices and consumer preferences.
Why your views matter
To ensure the proposed changes successfully bring the current regulations up to date, we want to hear from stakeholders in industry, fire and rescue services, and trading standards, as well as from consumers and test houses.
