Transparency: Flexible working and family related leave and pay policies

Closed 11 Oct 2019

Opened 19 Jul 2019

Overview

The Government wants to consider measures which aim to complement the government’s aims and objectives for parental leave and pay and to improve access to flexible working for all. This section looks specifically at measures to enable job applicants and existing employees to make more informed decisions about job opportunities and access the flexibilities they may need to stay in the labour market.
It asks questions about:
• Employers publishing their family related leave and pay and flexible working policies;
• Whether there should be a requirement for employers to consider advertising jobs as flexible.
